Under the Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission, a one-day mega employment fair was organized on Monday at Lal Bahadur Shastri Postgraduate College, Gonda. The program was inaugurated by chief guest BJP District President Akbal Bahadur Tiwari by lighting the lamp. In his address, the chief guest said that the state and central governments are continuously making efforts to make the youth self-reliant by providing them employment and self-employment opportunities.

The program was presided over by the college principal, Prof. Ravindra Kumar. A total of 17 reputed companies participated in the employment fair, which mainly included L&T, Maruti and Citec India. 1077 candidates registered in the fair, out of which 572 candidates were selected in various companies. Offer letters were also distributed to 10 selected candidates by the Chief Guest on the spot.

On this occasion, District Employment Officer Balrampur Mita Gupta, IQC Director Prof. Employees of employment department and college including Jitendra Singh, Dr. Harish Kumar Shukla and Assistant Director (Employment) Rajeev Kumar Singh were present. At the end of the program, Assistant Director Employment expressed gratitude to all the guests and participants.
