Many parents will have taken time off over the school Easter holidays to enjoy some well-deserved quality time with their little ones. However, keeping the kids entertained throughout the Easter breakcan often prove quite the challenge.
With that in mind, one influencer has revealed the '7 top fairytale locations you should visit before your kids grow up'. Instagram account 'North East Family Days Out' regularly posts ideas for exciting days out, activities and trips for parents across the North East and beyond, boasting 70,000 followers.
In their latest reel, they highlighted seven destinations that had been "tried and tested" and all coming "highly recommended".

1. Efteling
Efteling is the largest and most visited theme parkin the Netherlands, renowned for its enchanting fairytale atmosphere and lush forest surroundings. Situated in Kaatsheuvel, it ranks amongst the oldest theme parks on the planet, having opened its iconic Fairytale Forest in 1952 - three years before the original Disneyland.
2. Stockeld ParkStockeld Park is a 2,000-acre agricultural estate and award-winning family adventure park nestled in North Yorkshire, England, between Wetherby and Harrogate. 5. The Forbidden CornerThe Forbidden Corner is a distinctive, four-acre garden and "folly" attraction situated in the Tupgill Park Estate near Middleham, North Yorkshire. Frequently described as "the strangest place in the world," it is a maze-like park packed with underground tunnels, enchanting sculptures, and concealed chambers designed to bewilder and enchant.
6. LilidoreiLilidorei (pronounced Lil-ee-door-ee) is an enormous, fantasy-themed adventure play village situated within the grounds of The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland, England. It houses the world's largest play structure, a 26-metre-tall wooden masterpiece named Elfwin Drin.
7. Sundown AdventurelandSundown Adventureland is a one-of-a-kind theme park exclusively designed for children aged under 10, situated in Rampton near Retford, Nottinghamshire. Rather than catering to thrill-seekers like larger parks, it centres on gentle rides, interactive walk-throughs, and sprawling play areas that bring fairy tales and adventures to life.
Followers were full of enthusiasm for the recommendations, with the post amassing more than 1,600 likes.
