Sanjay Singh, Patna: As soon as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tendered his resignation from the Legislative Council, there has been an uproar in the politics of the state. The only thing being discussed everywhere is whether Bihar is going to get a new Chief Minister. Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has expressed strong objection to this entire matter. He clearly said that the people of Bihar had voted for Nitish Kumar after seeing his face, hence they should not be cheated in any way. Pappu Yadav believes that for the peace and strength of Bihar, it is very important for Nitish Kumar to remain the Chief Minister.

Pappu Yadav has also targeted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in this matter. He said that Delhi is still far away, so what is the need to show so much restlessness. He warned that if BJP stubbornly tried to make its own Chief Minister, it would be very bad for both BJP and JDU. According to him, by doing this the future of both the parties may be in danger and the public will move away from them.

Pappu Yadav made a big claim and said that Nitish Kumar is being surrounded and trapped from all sides. He has said that decisions are being taken forcibly by putting pressure on them, which is not at all right for democracy. He reminded Nitish Kumar that his politics is like that of great leaders like Gandhiji and Karpoori Thakur, hence he should stick to his principles instead of getting involved in these political tricks.

There should be a new face from JDU

Pappu Yadav has also given a suggestion that if for some reason Nitish Kumar leaves the chair, then he should bring forward a leader from his own party i.e. JDU. He said that if any person from outside becomes the Chief Minister, then work in Bihar will come to a standstill and governance will not be run properly. Due to this, development work will be stopped and ultimately the common people of Bihar will have to bear the loss.

Pappu Yadav finally said that all this is just a political game, which has nothing to do with the benefit of the public. This is just manipulation of power. The politics of Bihar today is at such a juncture where big changes can take place in the coming days. Now it remains to be seen whether Nitish Kumar remains the Chief Minister or the command of Bihar goes into the hands of someone else.
