New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) hammered Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 8 wickets in the third match of the IPL 2026 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Monday, March 30. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a quick-fire 17-ball 52 as RR chased down the 128-run target with 47 balls to spare. Anshul Kamboj picked up two wickets for CSK, but other bowlers failed to deliver after a poor batting performance.

After a sensational bowling display, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi turned the chase into a one-man show. He was dropped by CSK fielder Kartik in the first over and made them pay with the second-fastest fifty for RR. Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal added 74 runs for the first wicket in the powerplay, which effectively ended the contest. He smashed a 15-ball fifty with the help of five maximums and four boundaries.

Kamboj removed Sooryavanshi (52) and Dhruv Jurel (18), but the damage had long been inflicted. After the two quick dismissals, Yashasvi Jaiswal (38*) and Riyan Parag (14*) calmly finished the formalities for RR, winning the match with nearly 8 overs to spare.
