BCCI: Amidst the preparations for IPL 2026, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has released the schedule of the upcoming home season of Team India, in which fans will get to see thrilling matches. This time India will host great teams like Australia, West Indies, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe on its soil. A total of 22 international matches will be played in this home season, these matches will be played in 17 different cities including Indore.

India will host West Indies

According to the schedule released by BCCI, the home season will start from 27 September 2026 against West Indies. During this period, the West Indies team will tour India for a three-match ODI and five-match T20 series. ODI matches between the two teams will be played in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and New Chandigarh, while T20 matches will be held in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe teams will come on India tour

After West Indies, the Indian team will host Sri Lanka in December 2026. During this, a three-match ODI and the same number of T20 series will be played between the two teams. ODI matches between the two teams will be organized in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. Whereas T20 matches will be held in Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune.

After this, Zimbabwe team will visit India in the beginning of 2027. During this period, a three-match ODI series will be played between the two teams. The three-match ODI series matches between India and Zimbabwe will be played in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

Australian team will visit India for Border Gavaskar Trophy

According to the home season schedule recently released by BCCI, the Australian team will tour India for the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2027. During this period, a five-match test series will be played between the two teams. This series between the two teams will start from 21st June 2027 in Nagpur. Apart from this, the remaining matches of this series will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad.
