Serve *Sattvic* Food

Only *Sattvic* (pure and wholesome) food should be served during *Kanya Pujan*. This type of food excludes the use of onions, garlic, or any other *Tamasic* (stimulating or heavy) ingredients. Typically, a *Prasad* (sacred offering) consisting of *Halwa* (sweet pudding), *Puri* (fried bread), black chickpeas, and a vegetable dish is prepared and served to the girls and the boys, thereby elevating the spiritual significance of the ritual.

Maintain Respect and Patience

It is natural for young children to be playful and restless; however, during the worship ceremony, one must always interact with them with love and patience. Any form of disrespect, anger, or harsh behavior can adversely affect the spiritual outcome of the worship. Avoid Black Attire

Offering *Dakshina* (a monetary offering or gift) at the conclusion of *Kanya Pujan* is considered a mandatory practice.
