The beautiful and talented Hilary Duff is a busy mother of four; she has a son and three daughters. A recent article about her blended family tells of the wonderful chaos within her family as they are always busy doing things together.

Duff has her oldest child, Luca Cruz Comrie (14 years old), from her previous marriage to professional hockey player Mike Comrie. Luca was born on March 20, 2012and has been characterized as being a kind, caring, and very protective brother who has a great outlook on life. For example, he wrote an amazing poem for his mother’s wedding to her husband, Matthew Koma. In the poem, he called their family “a galaxy shooting off into the cosmos.” Duff has described him as “magic” and feels fortunate to have an amazing relationship with Mike Comrie for the benefit of their son. Duff said, “Mike and I are a team. We will always be a team.”

Years later, Duff gave birth to three daughters with her husband, Matthew Koma. Banks Violet Bair (7 years old) was born on October 25, 2018. Banks is a huge fan of her mom’s music as well as the music of Harry Styles. There was an instance when she watched Harry Styles in concert and had an awe-filled expression on her face. Banks and Luca have developed a great bond and have developed a great friendship where there is a well-documented history of him being very protective of her.

Mae James Bair (4 years old) was born via water birth at the home of Duff and Koma, and Mae is a very humorous child. Mae loves to jump and has made attempts to become her older sister’s friend.

Townes Meadow Bair is the newest Bair (born May 3, 2024) and was born at home. When she announced the birth of Townes, Duff included a fun caption about “working on those cheeks,” and remarked that when she holds Townes, it’s “pure magic.”

Duff likes living in this chaos: “I like it when there are a lot of energetic people at home and the house is so full of life. You never know what will happen during the day at our house.” The Duff, Bair, and Comrie family is enjoying their brightly decorated, loving home filled with concerts, writing, jumping in puddles, and cuddling siblings.
