New Delhi: Stylish India batter Smriti Mandhana stayed static at the second spot, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur jumped to 14th in the latest ICC women’s T20I rankings for batters released on Tuesday.
While Mandhana remained in the hunt for the top position, power hitter Shafali Verma, the other Indian in the top 10, retained her sixth position. Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues missed out on entering the top 10 and remained joint 11th.
In bowling charts, spin all-rounder Deepti Sharma moved up a spot to third while pacer Renuka Singh Thakur retained her sixth place. Fast bowler Arundhati Reddy, however, lost a spot and slipped out of the top 10 to 11th.

Australia opener Georgia Voll was rewarded for her recent performances with a spot in the top 10 of the batting rankings for the first time. Meanwhile, New Zealand star Sophie Devine’s back-to-back half-centuries against South Africa helped her move up two places to 18th in the list.
All-rounders Ellyse Perry of Australia (up two places to 20th) and Qiana Joseph of the West Indies (up 14 places to 33rd) progressed in the batting rankings.
Left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba entered the top 10 in the bowling charts. Thanks to her five wickets in three matches, Mlaba moved from 11th to ninth while Australia leg-spinner Georgia Wareham jumped four spots from 16th to 12th, after picking three wickets in two matches.
New Zealand’s Jess Kerr achieved a career-best 15th spot after bagging eight wickets in the first four matches of the series against South Africa, including a three-wicket haul in the decider in Wellington.
