Lucknow, 24 March. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday termed the previous opposition governments as anti-development and said that they not only broke the trust of the state but also “shattered the dreams” of the youth here. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was addressing a function organized after launching the advanced single window portal ‘Nivesh Mitra 3.0’ here. He said, “This trust, which was broken by the previous governments for political reasons, was not only the trust, but also the dreams of the youth of Uttar Pradesh were shattered.”

Addressing the investors present at the function, he said, “The dream of establishing Uttar Pradesh as a special investment destination within the country was seen nine years ago. The presence of all of you is working to bring that dream on the ground.” Yogi said, “You have trusted the ‘double engine’ government in the state. To live up to your trust and provide you a favorable environment, this government has taken concrete steps.” Referring to the achievements of the nine years of the BJP-led government, the Chief Minister said that due to this Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a major investment destination in the entire country.

He said, “Looking at this trust, it seems that in reality this is our biggest asset.” Taking a dig at the opposition, he said, “An identity crisis was created before the people of Uttar Pradesh. Question marks were raised on the existence of the country’s most populous state.” He said, “I can say with certainty that under the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our team has worked hard to live up to the trust you have placed on the double engine Uttar Pradesh government for nine consecutive years and its results are visible at every level.”

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that he is proud of the leadership of the Chief Minister. He said, “Many promises are made but are not kept. Ever since the double engine government of Bharatiya Janata Party has been formed in the country and the state, there has been a massive change in the environment.” Maurya said that before 2017, people were afraid of entering Uttar Pradesh, but now due to strong law and order, investment is coming on a large scale. He said that under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, there has been an industrial revolution in Uttar Pradesh and the size of the state’s economy is continuously increasing. On this occasion, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and Minister of State Sunil Kumar Sharma also addressed the function.
