Leandro Trossard has withdrawn from the Belgium national team squad for this month's international break due to an injury. The forward was poised to join his national colleagues for their friendly double-header against the USA and Mexico.
The Red Devils are among numerous squads journeying to North America to compete over the next fortnight, in preparation for this summer's World Cup in the region. However, Trossard will now remain at the club during the international break due to an injury.
The 31-year-old participated in 82 minutes of Sunday'sCarabao Cup loss to Manchester Citybefore being substituted for Gabriel Martinelli. The decision for him not to travel with Belgium was made in consultation with Arsenal and focused on preserving his fitness following the recent hip issue he sustained at Mansfield.

Defender Gabriel Magalhaes has joined Trossard and the other Arsenal players to pull out of their respective national teams. The Brazilian will miss the international friendlies against France and Croatia after suffering pain in his right knee, the CBF have confirmed.
Eberechi Eze and Jurrien Timber were compelled to withdraw from the England and Netherlands set-up. Eze has been replaced by Harvey Barnes, who will be accompanied by Arsenal right-back Ben White.
The defender has been recalled into the England set-up by Thomas Tuchel three years after he last represented his nation. William Saliba sustained an injury to his left ankle in the defeat at Wembley on Sunday and will be absent for France's forthcoming matches against Brazil and Colombia.

The French Football Federation have confirmed that Crystal Palace's Maxence Lacroix will step in as his replacement. "William Saliba is unable to join the French national team's training camp, which begins this Monday, March 23," a statement read.
"The Arsenal centre-back is suffering from recurring pain in his left ankle, requiring treatment and a minimum rest period of 10 days."
They will all remain with Mikel Arteta's squad in a bid to regain full fitness. Captain Martin Odegaard is another player who will join them after being sidelined for a month due to a knee injury.
Mikel Arteta will be optimistic that either Odegaard or Eze will recover in time for the Southampton match in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday, April 4. A Champions League encounter away to Sporting in Portugal is also scheduled for Tuesday, April 7.
The Gunners' subsequent Premier League fixture is not until the following Saturday, as they face a congested end to the season, with three trophies still within reach.
