Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has rewritten box office history, breaking five major records within days of release.

Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the spy thriller crossed Rs 500 crore worldwide in just three days, making it one of the fastest films to achieve this milestone.

The film set the record for the biggest Hindi opening day ever, earning Rs 99.10 crore from its Hindi version alone and Rs 102.55 crore overall. This surpassed Pushpa 2: The Rulewhich had collected Rs 70.30 crore in Hindi on its opening day.

Strong advance bookings added to the frenzy, with tickets worth Rs 38.77 crore sold before release. This figure outperformed blockbusters like Animal, Jawanand Baahubali 2.

Despite technical glitches and delayed screenings in some regions, Dhurandhar 2 comfortably crossed Rs 100 crore on Day 1. Regional versions in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam contributed to the overall tally, but Hindi remained the primary driver.

Globally, the film achieved the biggest worldwide opening for a Bollywood film, grossing Rs 240 crore on Day 1, including nearly $9.5 million overseas. This record overtook Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawanthough it trails Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.

By Day 3, Dhurandhar 2 entered the Rs 500 crore club, collecting Rs 339.27 crore in India and surpassing Sunny Deol’s Border 2. The sequel has become a career-defining project for Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar, multiplying the success of the first film and positioning itself as one of the biggest Hindi releases in recent years.
