New Delhi: New-Delhi and Bengaluru-based indie game developers Wala Interactive has announced its ghost hunting co-op adventure game, Spook-A-Boo for PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and XBox Series X|S. This is a light-hearted, top-down, level-based co-op game inspired by Saturday morning cartoons such as Scooby-Doo and Ghostbusters, with a focus on chaotic, family-friendly adventures. The game is published by Soft Source Publishing. Up to four players can squad up in Spook-A-Boo to hunt down and capture troublemaking ghosts, armed with an assortment of gadgets to locate, lure and trap ghosts. The game features physics-based puzzles, and can be played as a solo adventure as well.

The gameplay alternates between spooky suspense and all out chaos as players catch the hidden ghosts using their arsenal of gadgets. Players can play at their own pace, or race to get the best score to obtain rewards and unlock secrets. There are 28 levels spread across four unique worlds, including 80s Earth, Ancient India, Steam City and Sci-Fi. Boss ghosts have their own unique weaknesses that have to be discovered before they can be defeated. The game offers a wide variety of optimisation strategies, with something for every play style. Both the online and local co-op modes supports up to four players. A demo of the game can be played right now on Steam.

Homage to a lost Era
