RR Jersey IPL 2026: The Rajasthan Royals showed their new jersey for IPL 2026. They have kept their classic pink and blue but giving it a fresh, modern look. The shirt has a big lion graphic across the front. It shows strength and an aggressive mindset. And a sharp gradient from royal blue at the top to bright pink at the bottom. The sleeves and side panels use darker pink and blue shades, and the collar is a round-neck style with subtle accents.
The front sponsor is Waaree Solar, and JK Lakshmi Cement is on the back, with other partners featured on the sleeves and upper chest. The design links the team with Rajasthan pride and sustainability themes.
The jersey was revealed in Jaipur at a launch event where players and guests wore the full kit. Fans could see the design up close, take photos, and interact with the team. On social media, supporters liked the pink gradient, the lion design and the clean sponsor placement. The jersey keeps the Royals’ iconic look while staying true to their “fan-first” approach.
For the first part of IPL 2026, the Royals will play at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati since their usual home in Jaipur is being renovated. Their first matches include games against Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. No matches in this phase will be played at their Jaipur stadium.
At the Rajasthan Royals jersey launch, Ravindra Jadeja and Vaibhav Suryavanshi shared their thoughts about the team and the new season.
Jadeja talked about coming back to the Royals after 17 years. He said he is ready to take on the responsibilities of a senior player. He wants to guide the team, share his opinions, and help wherever needed. He called the squad “ultra-young” and said it will be exciting to mentor so many new players. Jadeja also said returning to the Royals is a learning experience for him too. When asked about the long wait since their 2008 IPL win, he joked that like plants, success takes time to grow, and now the “plant has started to bear fruits.”
Suryavanshi, only 14, stayed very grounded despite all the attention after his U-19 World Cup century. He said he focuses on his game and handles fame by staying calm. He picked his 175-run innings in the U-19 final as his favorite moment so far, saying it was a proud and unique achievement. He also noted that while IPL happens every year, playing and winning in the U-19 World Cup was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Before the new modern jersey in 2026, the Rajasthan Royals had a long history with different colors and designs. From 2008 to 2018, they mostly wore dark blue with gold. The very first jersey in 2008 was dark blue with gold accents and Shane Warne led the team to win the IPL. In 2018, when the team came back after a two-year break, the jersey was bright blue with gold lines on the sleeves and some pink on the shoulders.
In 2019, the Royals switched to pink as their main color to match Jaipur, the “Pink City.” That year, the jersey was all pink with some dark blue. In 2020, they added a gradient from pink at the bottom to dark blue at the top. The 2021 jersey kept the pink and blue gradient and included block prints for social causes like women empowerment and mental health. In 2022, they added the ‘Leheriya’ wave pattern and it was delivered to the stadium in a stunt by Robbie Maddison. The 2023 jersey kept the pink and blue style but added subtle stepwell designs at the bottom. Finally, they kept classic pink and blue but gave it a fresh, modern look.
