VerbaFlo raised $7 million led by Pi Labs with investors Haatch, Navigate Ventures, Old College Capital and family offices, taking total funding to $9 million. Faisal Butt, founder and managing partner at Pi Labs, said the platform's impact is immediate and can deliver operational benefits, including faster leasing, lower operational friction, and improved resident experience.

VerbaFlo, a conversational AI platform focussed on real estate operators, has raised $7 million in a round led by UK-based Pi Labs, with participation from Haatch, Navigate Ventures, Old College Capital ( Edinburgh University’s venture investment arm), and global family offices.

With this, the company’s total funding has reached about $9 million.

Founded in October 2024 by Sayantan Biswas, Abhishek Garg, VP Singh and Dan Smith, VerbaFlo builds AI agents that automate communication and operational workflows for residential real estate businesses. The platform handles tasks such as lead qualification, property enquiries, scheduling viewings, tenant onboarding, updating records across systems, and maintenance requests.

“Residential real estate is quite a mature asset class in the western world, especially in Europe, north America, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. These are our primary markets right now,” Singh told ET.

The UK-based company said its platform currently supports communications for more than 2,00,000 residential units across 10 countries and is adding around 30,000 units each month. It enables conversations in over 200 languages and is used by operators like Homes for Students, Moda Living, Fusion Students, Housing Hand, and Downing — key players in the UK residential and student accommodation sector.

“Our main market is the UK, which is where we started. After that we expanded into mainland Europe, including Ireland, and most recently we launched in the US market,” Singh added. The company is seeing strong demand from the US market, its largest outside Europe.

Singh described the platform as “Salesforce for real estate”. “Just like you have Android OS or iOS, we think of our platform as the AI operating system for the real estate industry,” he said.

“Real estate is one of the largest industries globally, yet much of its revenue still depends on fragmented communication across multiple channels,” said Biswas.

The platform centralises communications across email, web chat, WhatsApp, and phone, and connects directly with property management and CRM systems.

Faisal Butt, founder and managing partner at Pi Labs, said the platform's impact is immediate and can deliver operational benefits, including faster leasing, lower operational friction, and improved resident experience.

The funding will be used to expand in the US, hire senior talent across product, AI, and engineering teams, and invest in research and development.
