Jannik Sinner's win at the Indian Wells Open took his prize money to more than £45million and saw him close in on the total amount Andy Murray collected during his WHOLE career.

Sinner, 24, made his professional debut in 2018 and has since soared up to become one of the standout tennis players on the planet. Indeed, across the 2025 season, he reached the final in each of the four Grand Slam events, winning two of them in the form of the Australian Open and Wimbledon.

Although Sinner was unable to defend his Australian Open crown for the second time after losing in the semi-final to Novak Djokovic, he bounced back by winning at Indian Wells last week. The Italian beat Daniil Medvedev in the final to win that tournament and become the youngest man to complete the set of hard court big titles.

In the meantime, Sinner also broke the £45m mark for prize money, cementing his spot as seventh in the all-time men's singles earnings table.

Novak Djokovic has accrued the most from tennis, having banked £145,189,907.92 across a career that has spanned more than two decades and 101 titles - the third most in the Open Era.

Rafael Nadal is second with £101,403,897.38, while Roger Federer is third with £98,133,810.10. Then in comes Murray with £48,608,806.56 as fourth to seventh are separated by less than four million.

Current world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz is fifth with £48,298,177.04 - just more than £300,000 less than Murray. Alexander Zverev is then sixth, with the German pocketing £45,814,803.86 across his tennis career.

Sinner then comes in with the seventh-most on £45,116,330.61. Should the 2001-born ace continue as he is, there is no doubt he will at least be in at number five before the end of the calendar year.

He was impressive across the week to win for the first time at Indian Wells, beating Dalibor Svrcina, Denis Shapovalov, Joao Fonseca, Learner Tien, Zverev and Medvedev in the process.

"I knew that this was a tournament I haven't won, so I wanted to prepare in the best possible way, as professionally as possible," said Sinner after beating Medvedev 7-6 7-6 in California.

"Having this achievement now means a lot to me. Now I have couple of days to relax - there is not so much time in between here and Miami. It's again an important tournament in Miami, but we try to play the best tennis possible there too."
