Guna. Union Minister for Communications and Development of the Northeastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, inaugurated various development projects in Guna, amounting to ₹32.27 crores. Among these projects is a state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit at the district hospital, built at a cost of ₹16.86 crores, and a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the railway station and Sakatpur, which cost ₹15.41 crores. During the event, he also inspected the Critical Care Unit. Scindia emphasized that efforts are ongoing to enhance health, infrastructure, and civic amenities to accelerate Guna's development. While addressing the gathering, he highlighted his familial ties with the people of Guna, stating that this relationship transcends politics, rooted in trust and emotions.



Message of Resilience from Rajmata

In his speech, the Union Minister recalled the guidance of Rajmata Shrimant Vijayaraje Scindia, emphasizing her enduring message that individuals should never change themselves despite circumstances. He reiterated his commitment to uphold values and a spirit of service in politics. Scindia remarked that the journey of life is a continuous learning experience, stressing that addressing the personal issues of citizens is as crucial as the development projects themselves.



State-of-the-Art Critical Care Unit

The Union Minister stated that the newly established Critical Care Unit in Guna, costing ₹16.86 crores, will significantly transform healthcare services in the district. This facility features a fully air-conditioned hospital with 50 beds, equipped with advanced medical devices, computerized testing machines, and modern operating theaters. This development will reduce the dependency on major cities for critical treatments. During his visit, he inspected the unit and interacted with the staff, reminding them that the responsibility of maintaining this unit lies with them, urging them to keep it clean and beautiful.



Sewage Treatment Plant Initiative

On this occasion, the Union Minister congratulated the municipal team and all representatives for the completion of the ₹15.41 crores Sewage Treatment Plant. He noted that this project is a significant step towards ensuring cleanliness and better water management in the city. Additionally, he mentioned the construction of a modern sports complex in Guna, which will include a 50-meter swimming pool and various other sports facilities, providing youth with better opportunities to develop their athletic talents.
