Modi said important things in his conversation with the students during the discussion on the examination. He said that instead of counting the past, one should think about the future. PM Modi mentioned an incident of his birthday and said, 'A leader called me on my birthday.

On September 17, you called and told me that you have turned 75. On this I said that there are still 25 left. I don't count the past, I count what remains. In this regard, he inspired the students and said that hence I tell you also that do not waste time in counting what has passed. Think about living what is left.

The Prime Minister said this when a student from the North-East told him that her birthday also falls on 17th September. During this, PM Modi talked in detail about the examination. He said that many times it is published in newspapers that this time the examination was very difficult. After all, what is the reason for this? The paper is not out of the syllabus. Then why is it said that the exam was difficult? This is because people are getting into the habit of reading in short form. Earlier sure suggestions were given. Then the model papers started increasing and finally what happened was that the question papers of the last 10 years started coming.

Now students who have come after studying only the papers of last 10 years and if they are asked anything else from different syllabus then they find the exam difficult. The Prime Minister said that this disease was there even when I was studying. Some teachers also help in spreading this disease. They think that my class report card should be good. Therefore, only those things are taught which will help in getting marks. But good teachers talk about all-round development and teach the entire syllabus. During this, he gave the example of a bowler and said that if he keeps strengthening his shoulders, will he be able to become a good player.

PM Modi said - Study is a medium, not life for it

The Prime Minister said that it is important for him that the entire body is strong. Be mentally capable. Similarly, the whole life is not for exams. It is a means to enhance life, but it is not the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is to make life better as a whole. We should not limit ourselves by thinking like reading papers of 10 years. We should strive to make life the best it can be.
