Rishabh Pant trains with Yuvraj Singh ahead of IPL 2026

Rishabh Pant has been training with Yuvraj Singh in Mumbai.
The two spent four days at Brabourne Stadium last week, working on a variety of white-ball shots during day and night sessions.
This comes as part of Pant's preparation for the Indian Premier League 2026 season after a disappointing season in 2025 and his exclusion from India's white-ball teams since August 2024.
Pant and Yuvraj's mutual decision to train together

The decision to train together was a mutual one between Pant and Yuvraj.
As per Cricbuzz, a source close to the duo said, "He shares a good personal equation with Yuvraj and the two had discussed the possibility of working together for a few days. It materialized last week."
The collaboration is expected to help revive Pant's white-ball career after his absence from India's white-ball teams since August 2024.

Yuvraj, a white-ball legend of Indian cricket, has earned a reputation as a mentor.
He has previously trained players like Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Prabhsimran Singh.

This history makes his collaboration with Pant even more promising for the latter's upcoming IPL season.
Pant joins LSG training camp in Chennai

After his stint with Yuvraj, Pant headed to Chennai for a training camp organized by Lucknow Super Giants at Coaching Beyond ground.
The camp is being supervised by bowling coach Bharat Arun and batting coach Lance Klusener.
Along with Pant, players like Ayush Badoni, Mohsin Khan, Himmat Singh, Digvesh Singh Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav are also attending the session.
After March 15 the camp will move to Lucknow ahead of LSG's season opener against Delhi Capitals on April 1.

In 14 matches last season (13 innings), Pant ended up scoring 269 runs at 24.45. Besides a ton and a fifty, he also posted two ducks.
His strike rate last season read 133.16.
Overall in the IPL, the former Delhi Capitals star has scored 3,553 runs at 34.16.
He owns a strike rate of 147.61. Besides two tons, he has hit 19 fifties. He also owns six ducks.
