Antonin Kinsky is likely to be allowed to leave Tottenham on loan in the summer in order to rebuild his career after the goalkeeper's chastening experience against Atletico Madrid.

Igor Tudor handed Kinsky his first start since October in the first leg of Tottenham's Champions League Round of 16 clash with Atletico, but the 22-year-old could hardly have endured a more difficult evening. He was at fault for two goals and was then brutally substituted by Tudor after just 17 minutes with Spurs already 3-0 down.

The young keeper looked distraught as he left the pitch and Tudor has been condemned for his failure to even acknowledge the Czech Republic youth international before he went straight down the tunnel.

As people debate the damage Tuesday night's experience may have on Kinsky's career, it has emerged that he is expected to seek a move away from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

The Telegraph report that Kinsky will look for a move again after hoping to go out on loan in the last two transfer windows in order to play regular football. Tottenham are not expected to stand in his way this time, though, in a boost for the shot-stopper.

Kinsky joined Tottenham for £12.5million from Slavia Prague back in January 2025 and has generally played as the understudy to Guglielmo Vicario, whose future is also uncertain beyond this season.

Spurs are expected to press ahead with plans for a squad overhaul regardless of whether or not they retain their Premier League status, with the club now just one point above the relegation zone.

Pressure is also building on Tudor, who has lost all four of his games since succeeding Thomas Frank on an interim basis last month. His failure to console Kinsky has done little to alleviate such pressure, with a number of fans and pundits openly criticising his conduct in Madrid.

Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper, Joe Hart, was among those to tear into the Croatian, telling TNT Sports: "To get to this level, signed by Spurs, one mistake does not alter you. That is a technical error, but what precedes that... was it the right decision? Maybe it was. But what I saw after...

"I hate being reactive because I like to know all the facts. But the fact he has taken him off in that situation having played him... he is young, 22, he is not a man, he has done nothing to try and hurt Spurs.

"[He had] a couple of bad moments, but to rip him off in this situation and not even acknowledge the guy? Every single one of Tottenham's players who are feeling the pain don't know what to do. How is that good for him?"
