This recognition is part of a national initiative aimed at reducing pediatric death and disability both in the prehospital settings and within hospitals.

The Always Ready for Children program is presented to organizations that demonstrate excellence in pediatric readiness including specialized training, equipment and protocols. “This recognition prioritizes the unique needs of children and families during emergencies.
