Lux Aeterna is building satellites that don't get tossed after one trip: they launch, work in space, re-enter Earth's atmosphere and be recovered for refurbishment, get a tune-up, and fly again.
Their tech is aimed at customers like the US Department of Defense and researchers who want to lease time in orbit for experiments or demos.
Their first prototype, Delphi, is set to launch with SpaceX in early 2027.
By 2030, they hope to have dozens of these satellites flying (and re-flying), making space missions more affordable and flexible than ever.
