Mumbai: The ticket sales for ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ are already booming. With just a few days for its release, the excitement for the movie can be seen reflected in its ticket sales. According to BookMyShow estimates, the action thriller starring Ranveer Singh has sold over 2.75 lakh tickets globally.

The surge in ticket sales came after the movie’s trailer launch. The early sales have raised hopes for the makers of the film. They are expecting a strong start at the box office.

Trade tracking website Sacnilk claimed the sales of 2,37,323 tickets across India for Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s premiere shows. Data shows an estimated domestic gross earnings of Rs 13.75 crore already. The number is reportedly Rs 19.46 crore, with the inclusion of blocked seats.

Variety India reported that the most expensive ticket for the preview screenings is Rs 2,900, which is available at INOX Megaplex. Viewers can book a recliner at the price. However, in some parts of the country, tickets are available for as low as Rs 59. At AGS Cinemas, fans can choose a Pearl category seat that would cost them only Rs 59.

The ticket prices showcase the different theatre experiences available across the country, ranging from luxury recliners to other affordable seating options.

Meanwhile, the makers are also planning paid preview shows just a day ahead of the movie’s release. This is also expected to boost the overall ticket sales.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, also features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles. The film’s plot is expected to be about the rise of Hamza Ali Mazar, while also delving into the life of Jaskirat Singh Ranghi.
