Rising temperatures, sticky humidity and hot winds during the day have started troubling the people of the capital. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of severe heat in Delhi NCR on March 10 and 11. According to India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature can reach 38 to 40 degrees Celsius in these two days. The night temperature is also expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius.


With the beginning of the second week of March in Delhi, the heat has started showing its effect. According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, on March 10 and 11, the temperature in the capital will be much higher than normal and intense heat will be felt during the day. Due to strong sunlight and hot winds during the day, people may feel heat like heat wave. Meteorologists say that this time in March itself the heat can break many old records and the weather in the capital is going to be hotter than normal.


According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of heat will continue in Delhi NCR for the next few days. The temperature is expected to be above normal both during the day and night. The maximum temperature can reach 37 to 38 degrees Celsius on March 10 and 11.


The night temperature is likely to be around 20 degrees Celsius. Even on March 12, 13 and 14, the maximum temperature may remain around 37 degrees Celsius. A slight drop in temperature may be seen from March 15.


During the last 24 hours, winds blew at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour in Delhi NCR. Late Monday evening, suddenly the sky became cloudy and strong winds were blowing, due to which people felt that the weather might change, but at present there is no sign of relief from the heat.


According to meteorologists, at present the temperature in many states of the country is being recorded much higher than normal. The effects of heat are becoming visible ahead of time and heat wave like conditions are being created in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature has reached 40 degrees Celsius in many districts of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Apart from this, in many states the temperature is being recorded 5 to 7 degrees more than normal.
