Brahmavar police have taken 10 persons into custody for allegedly engaging in gambling near Kooradi Melpete on Saturday night.

The arrested have been identified as Harish, Gururaj, Venkatesh Poojary, Harsha, Suresh Naik, Raja Naik, Peter D’Mello, Nagesh, Nagaraj and Rajesh.

Police seized three two-wheelers, nine mobile phones and gambling materials, with the total value of the confiscated property estimated at ₹1.54 lakh.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
