On Saturday, March 7, the former captain was spotted training at the famous Shivaji Park. During his practice session, a crowd of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of him in action. The atmosphere was electric as they cheered him on while he showcased some impressive batting skills.
Rohit was in fine form, confidently executing a range of shots flicks, pulls, cover drives, and solid front-foot defenses. Each time he connected with the ball, the crowd erupted in cheers, creating a lively vibe throughout the session.

Five IPL titles and 7,046 runs define Rohit Sharma’s legacy
As one of the most successful captains in IPL history, Rohit has led the Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020, solidifying the franchise's status as a powerhouse in the league.

Previously, Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy from Rohit. Hardik, who made his IPL debut in 2013 with the Mumbai Indians, played 92 matches for the team before joining the Gujarat Titans. He led the Titans to an IPL title in their inaugural season in 2022 and finished as runners-up in 2023.
Overall, Rohit has had a remarkable IPL career, amassing 7,046 runs in 272 matches. His impressive stats include two centuries and 47 half-centuries, with an average of 29.73 and a strike rate of 132.09.
