Maharashtra Budget 2026: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has presented the budget for the financial year 2026-27 and it has made important announcements for infrastructure, roads and waterways, employment, dear sister and farmers. As much as 7 lakh 69 thousand 467 crore rupees have been allocated for this year’s budget. In this, there is a deficit of 40 thousand 552 crore rupees and the Maharashtra government has been successful in keeping the fiscal deficit below 3 percent. So, the revenue deficit remains less than 1 percent.

In this year’s budget, the government has made a provision of Rs. 250 crores for the tourism sector. In this, various schemes will be implemented to preserve the historical heritage of Pune, Satara, Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts. The Chief Minister said that the entire work of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s memorial at Sangameshwar (Tulapur) in Pune is planned to be completed by June 2027. Also, the Chief Minister said that the birth place of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj will also be preserved in Satara.

The Sindhuratna Samrudh Yojana, which was launched for the development of Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts, was implemented for 3 years. Due to its success, Sindhuratna Samriddhi Yojana 2.0 is proposed for the next three years as well. The Chief Minister said in the budget meeting that the memorial work of Dharmaveer Swarajyaksha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj will soon be taken up at Sangameshwar in Ratnagiri district.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s memorial will be built in Agra and Maratha bravery memorial will also be erected in Panipat and it has been approved. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made provision for the development of 5 Jyotirlingas in the 2026 budget. In which emphasis will be placed on Madira work and infrastructure in the temple area. A ropeway project will be set up for tourists at Vasota Fort in Satara district and a third cinema will be set up at Ramtek in Nagpur. All these proposals have been approved and the work will start soon.
