The UP Pollution Control Board is looking to fill 40 vacancies, comprising 26 positions for Assistant Environmental Engineers and 14 for Assistant Scientific Officers. All roles are classified under Pay Matrix Level 10.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Assistant Environmental Engineer: Candidates must possess a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering. Additionally, they should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers India (AMIE) in relevant engineering disciplines.

Assistant Scientific Officer: A doctorate in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, or Biochemistry is required. Applicants should have three years of experience in Environment, Pollution Control, or Public Health. Alternatively, candidates with a master's degree and five years of relevant experience are also eligible.

Selection Process Overview

The selection for these positions will commence with a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who perform well in the CBT will be called for an interview, leading to the creation of a final merit list.
