Kolkata: Till the end of the second day of the bidding process, SEDEMAC Mechatronics IPO attract 0.46 times subscription overall — 0.09 times in the retail category, 1.27 times in QIB category and 0.25 times in the NII category. At the end of the first day of the bidding process, SEDEMAC Mechatronics IPO was subscribed 0.27 times overall — 0.03 times in the retail category, 0.87 times in QIB segment and 0.01 times in the NII category. The QIB subscription is significant since banks and mutual funds and similar bodies are categorised as QIB. They have the deep pockets and analytical skills to understand the nuances of any IPO. Also SBI Securities has recommended subscription for long-term investors and has virtually ruled out significant listing gains.
The SEDEMAC Mechatronics IPO GMP is displaying some rare movements indeed. It was n he negative zone before the IPO opened. Then on he first day of the bidding process it jumped to Rs 55-60 range where it was in early hours of March 5. But then again it slumped back to the negative territory.
