New Delhi: It is Thursday, and Rockstar Games has rolled out a fresh weekly event in GTA Online, giving players a new set of activities, bonuses, and vehicle rewards between March 5 and March 11. The update focuses heavily on Salvage Yard gameplay, which means players who enjoy breaking down vehicles and running robberies will see bigger payouts this week.
This week, the Salvage Yard bonuses are pretty interesting, especially with claimable vehicles. The event details show faster salvaging speeds, double income from the yard, and special robbery missions that may reward personal vehicles.
The main focus of the event sits around the Salvage Yard business. Players who own one will notice a noticeable boost in income and productivity.
The update confirms the following bonuses for the week:
GTA+ subscribers receive an even bigger boost. Their Salvage Yard daily income can reach 4X GTA$, which means the business could bring in serious cash for players who log in daily.
Rockstar also added a weekly task tied to these robberies.
Weekly challenge
For players who like running quick jobs instead of long missions, this challenge feels fairly achievable within a few sessions.
Three Salvage Yard robberies are currently available in the event rotation. Two of them give players a chance to claim vehicles as personal rides if the mission succeeds.
Available robberies include:

GTAOnline: Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio with LS Pounders Vanity Plate

GTAOnline: Lampadati Tigon with LS Panic Vanity Plate
Completing The Podium Robbery and The Gangbanger Robbery gives players a chance to claim the cars.
From a player’s perspective, this is always the fun part. I remember grinding similar robberies months ago just to grab a rare vehicle without spending GTA$.
Beyond the Salvage Yard boosts, Rockstar has doubled rewards in several modes.
Players can earn 2X GTA$ and RP in:
For GTA+ members, Community Race Series rewards climb to 4X GTA$ and RP.
There is another small cosmetic reward linked to this week’s activities.
Players can unlock:
Vehicle discounts are part of the weekly rotation. Rockstar has reduced prices across several cars and aircraft.
40 percent discount
30 percent discount vehicles
Players who prefer luck-based rewards can spin the Lucky Wheel, where the podium vehicle this week is the Pegassi Reaper.
Meanwhile, LS Car Meet players can earn the Annis Remus by placing Top 5 in the LS Car Meet Series for three days in a row.
The roaming Gun Van shop is offering weapon discounts during the event window.
A featured investigation mission is also available under the FIB Priority File called “The Fine Art File.”
The weekly event runs March 5 to March 11, after which Rockstar plans another event celebrating community-created jobs and their creators. For players who enjoy grinding Salvage Yard operations or hunting rare vehicles, this week’s update quietly delivers plenty to do.
