In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Govinda said that when a person quietly listens to statements made about them, it hurts. He added that every man silently endures things at home and that one should continue working with decency and goodness, without hurting anyone.

Without directly addressing the claims, the Raja Babu actor mentioned that when someone displays their pain yet still appears radiant, people tend to misinterpret it. According to him, some individuals may seem honest, but their loyalty might lie elsewhere, and discussing such matters could unnecessarily embarrass others. He emphasised that instead of engaging in negativity, one should move forward and aim for the top.

He also shared some shayaris about love and pain. The 90s star then remembered his mother advising him not to consider just a few people as his entire world, because if they betray you, you would be left with nowhere to go. She had reminded him that many people loved him.

He urged people to remain calm and focus on their work unless he himself says something wrong or confirms anything directly.

The veteran actor also pointed out that in the film industry, criticism receives more attention than praise. Therefore, he encouraged everyone to focus on doing good work and moving ahead. He added that insulting someone does not increase another person's respect.
