You have to be close to a particular person and provide some services. This process is explained openly. When this happened to me two-three times, I also felt how extreme it is, but it still happens in the industry.

She further adds that it is not easy for female artistes to advance their careers without connections or networks in the industry. Akanksha said that if the work is good, she goes to meetings and hopes to get the role.
