New Delhi: Anthropic’s flagship Claude AI is ‘not working as intended’, the tech giant confirmed on its official site on Monday evening. Anthropic reported that the issue could be associated with the login/logout paths of Claude. The company is currently investigating the matter since the outage first started.

“We have identified that the Claude API is working as intended. The issues we are seeing are related to Claude.ai and with the login/logout paths,” Anthropic stated in a report.

Downdetector indicated the same, with a high of 924 users reporting that Claude AI was facing an outage since 5.11 pm IST. Its chat feature was the highest-reported issue, with 73% of users pointing out the problems. Up to 14% of users faced issues with the app, and 13% revealed that they were facing difficulties with Claude Code. By 6.11 pm, the outage surged to 296.
