This year is being celebrated as 'Farmers Welfare Year' in Madhya Pradesh. In this regard, Dr. Mohan Yadav has taken a big step. The first agriculture cabinet of the state is going to be held in Nagalwadi of tribal dominated district Barwani on Monday, March 2. The Chief Minister has said that it is the government's resolve to double the income of the state's food providers by making them self-reliant. Important decisions will be taken in the interest of farmers from Nagalwadi itself.
Nagalwadi village of Barwani district is a tribal area with a population of about 2.5 thousand. The 800 year old Bhilat Dev temple is situated here, which is the main center of faith of the tribal society. After the Agriculture Cabinet, the entire cabinet will visit the temple. The government believes that starting from the land of Bhilatdev, the folk deity of Malwa-Nimar, is also a symbolic and cultural message.
Preparations for this agriculture cabinet, which is being held for the first time, are also being done in a special way. The venue is being decorated in the traditional style of Nimar. The structure of the dome has been designed like Nimari houses. An exhibition related to farming will be organized, in which information about agriculture and tribal welfare schemes will be given. Traditional musical instruments like Dhol-Mandal and a glimpse of folk life will also be seen in the programme.
The entire cabinet of the state government will be present in Nagalwadi throughout the day. Along with the agriculture cabinet meeting, there will also be direct communication with intellectuals and farmers. The Chief Minister will inform the farmers about the government schemes and will also listen to their expectations and suggestions. The government's focus will be on agriculture and tribal welfare.
The Chief Minister and members of the Council of Ministers will also participate in the Bhagoria Utsav organized in Julwania. Bhagoria Utsav is a major festival of the tribal society, in which traditional dance and folk culture is reflected.
Special arrangements have been made to taste Nimari in the food for the cabinet and guests.
This entire food will be based on Satvik and local taste.
Five big domes have been built for the program.
Apart from this, arrangements like reception, control room and waiting area are being made in more than 12 pagodas.
The government believes that this agriculture cabinet can prove to be decisive for the development of not only Barwani but the entire Nimar region. This is the first major step under the Farmers Welfare Year, which clearly shows that the state government wants to give priority to agriculture and tribal sectors. Now the focus is on what important decisions are taken from Nagalwadi in the interest of farmers.
