New day and new look for Gucci’s international brand ambassador Alia Bhatt. The actor made a head-turning appearance at the ongoing Milan Fashion Week, stepping out for the Gucci fashion show.

Alia was part of Gucci artistic director Demna Gvasalia’s new show and was spotted by paparazzi outside the venue. She wore Pre-Fall 2026 couture and Frameless Mask Sunglasses from Spring/Summer 2026 couture. For the show, Alia was dressed in an all-noir ensemble, head to toe in the brand’s products.

She wore a black leatherette trench coat and styled her hair in a slick do. She also paired the look with black pointed-toe heels, carried a Gucci bag, and wore a huge pair of sunglasses that caught everyone’s attention. Her look was part of Demna’s debut showcase and reflected a “vicious Gothic” and ironic streetwear aesthetic.

Netizens, however, weren’t impressed with Alia’s all-black look. Many felt she blatantly copied Deepika Padukone, while some compared her outfit to a garbage bag, and others mocked it by saying it resembled Krrish’s costume.

A user wrote, “Why’s she talking like Kareena, dressing like DP, but ending up as Krrish part 4’s long-lost cousin?”

Another mentioned, “She seems to switch between imitating Kareena Kapoor & Deepika Padukone. Where is Alia Bhatt!”

Alia Bhatt’s partnership with Gucci began in 2023, marking a historic step as she became the fashion house’s first Indian Global Ambassador. Since her debut with the brand at the Cruise 2024 show in Seoul, she has become a regular at Gucci’s front row, sharing space with global figures in the fashion industry.

Ahead of the Milan Fashion Week event, Alia Bhatt shared a handwritten welcome note from Demna Gvasalia. The message read, “Dear Alia, Welcome to Milan, and I can’t wait to see you at my Gucci debut,” concluding with, “Love, Demna.”
