New Delhi: Several parts of Delhi will experience water supply disruptions for 48 hours starting 11 am on Wednesday, February 25, due to ongoing interconnection work by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
In an official notice, the civic body said the shutdown is necessary to connect a newly laid 1500 mm diameter twin raw water pipeline in Bhagya Vihar with the existing 1500 mm twin raw water main at the Dwarka Water Treatment Plant.

The DJB has advised residents to store adequate water in advance. It also said water tankers will be deployed at designated centres to minimise inconvenience during the disruption.
According to the notice, supply will remain affected until 11 am on Friday, February 27.
