Marigold Flowering Tips: Marigold flowers add beauty to the garden, but sometimes, despite being lush green, the plant does not produce flowers. The most common causes are improper care, overwatering, or incorrect fertilization. If you want lilies to bloom profusely in your pot or garden, then definitely follow these simple but effective tips from nursery gardeners.
Marigold plant loves sunlight. It should get at least 5-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Choose a place on the balcony or terrace where morning sunlight can easily reach. In extreme heat, you can provide some protection from the hot afternoon sun, but it is very important to keep the plant in bright light throughout the season. Due to lack of sunlight, the plant may almost stop flowering.

Marigold plant does not like much water. Its soil should be stable. It is not necessary to water daily, the soil should remain slightly moist. Due to excessive watering, the roots rot, due to which the plant becomes weak and it does not bloom. Always water the soil only after checking it with your finger.
The most effective fertilizer for marigold is the fertilizer made from cow dung compost. Break the cow dung tubers, soak them in water for two days, and then pour the same water into the plant. Do this every 20-25 days. If cow dung is not available, you can also use alum water. This gives new energy to the plant and increases the number of flowers.
