Friends, in today’s modern era, money transaction has become very easy, you can transfer money to anyone through UPI, that too through your fingers, now PhonePe has taken another step forward. The company has introduced an AI-powered natural language search feature that aims to improve the entire user experience. This new function allows users to do different tasks in the app using only text or voice commands, let’s know the complete details.

AI-powered search to make tasks easier

This new feature is built using Microsoft Foundry and is designed to make payments and other services easier to access. Instead of navigating through multiple menus, users can directly type or speak commands like “Pay Hemant Rs 20” or “Recharge FASTag”. The app will automatically open the relevant payment interface and guide users to quickly complete the task.

Understands user intent

One special thing about this feature is that it can understand the intention of the user. Whether someone wants to send money, make a purchase, or ask for help inside the app, the system can understand the request.

Focus on privacy and secure processing

AI Search works on a hybrid model that combines on-device and cloud-based processing. This way, all personal and transactional data remains securely stored in PhonePe’s system.

This feature is currently being rolled out in phases across India. Users will be able to access it through the global search bar, Help Center and the History tab inside the PhonePe app. As this rollout grows, more users will be able to experience faster and smarter digital payments powered by AI.
