Jaipur. Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant participated in the three-day National Conference on ‘Cyber ​​Security – Awareness, Protection, and Inclusive Access to Justice’ in Jaipur. During this, while sharing his experience, he said that sites made in Nigeria sent messages to his family members.

CJI told that fake sites created in his name in Nigeria sent messages to his family members. Chief Justice Surya Kant said that every other day I come to know that new fake sites have been created in my name. I know this personally. These sites sent messages to young lawyers like my sisters and my daughters. Expressing grief over this entire matter, CJI said that these fake sites are being created from Nigeria.

Supreme Court Chief Justice Surya Kant said that the digital revolution has provided a lot of convenience and has made governance, services and communication easier than ever. The CJI stressed that no judicial process like digital arrest exists.

Speaking at the National Conference, the CJI said that ensuring cyber security in the long run should be considered an essential part of civic education, and all institutions should work together as a coordinated partner.

Announcement to create special cyber court in Rajasthan

During the conference, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan announced the creation of a special cyber court in the state. On this the CJI thanked the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that with the increase in technology in the digital era, new challenges of cyber crime have also emerged.

The Chief Minister announced that a special cyber court will be formed in the state to strictly control cyber crime. The special cyber court will not only speed up the disposal of cases but will also increase awareness about cyber crime among the people.

Political and legal personalities of the state also participated on this occasion. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Dr. Premchand Bairwa and Rajasthan Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel were present. He invited everyone to share their views on the importance of digital security and measures to increase cyber awareness.

It is important to educate people about cyber threats

Cyber ​​security experts believe that with the rapidly increasing use of technology in the digital world, the security of personal data and financial information has become extremely challenging. CJI stressed the need to formulate strict rules and policies in this direction. He said that technical solutions alone are not enough, but it is also necessary to educate every section of the society about cyber crimes and their dangers.
