A pre-camp was organized on Friday in view of the multipurpose mega camp to be organized on 22nd February under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority Sonbhadra. During the camp organized in the auditorium of Block Development Office Robertsganj under the chairmanship of Civil Judge Rahul, CD/Secretary (Full Time) District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra, Lalji Shukla, Block Development Officer, Mahendra Maurya, Block Education Officer, Anurag Kumar Tripathi, Child Development Project Officer, Shubham Singh, SMS Agriculture Department, Pravesh Patel, Village Development Officer, Parasnath Bharti, Junior Engineer L.Sc. Irrigation. Department, Vijay Pal, Karmraj Verma, Veterinary Officer Satyarman Tripathi, Deputy Chief L. AADC Sonbhadra and about 150 people attended the program and about 70 people to various schemes were identified and registered.

The officers present in the program made the people aware about the schemes to their respective departments and explained in detail about various government welfare schemes. Also, during the program, through the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Krishnavati Devi, wife of Umapati village Meudi (Chhapka), who was 100 percent blind, was given a smart cane by Civil Judge Rahul, CD Secretary (Full Time), Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra.

Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Civil Judge (SD) told the people that such a program is being organized with the aim of connecting the weaker and deprived section of the society with justice, in which information about justice should be provided to the last person of the society, providing benefits and making the free legal aid system more effective. It was also told that the objective of the mega camp organized on 22 February 2026 at the Panchayat Resource Center located at Vikas Bhawan is to educate the common citizens of the district, especially the poor, deprived, The helpless and needy class has to be provided access to judicial aid and benefits of various government welfare schemes at one place.

Free legal consultation, disposal of cases through Lok Adalat, mediation, counseling services, and information and benefits to government schemes will be provided in the camp. Secretary District Legal Services Authority Sonbhadra/Civil Judge Senior Division Rahul said that officers from various departments including Revenue, Police, Labour, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Health, Education, Bank, Insurance, Electricity, Municipal Body will be present in the mega camp, who will solve the problems of the eligible beneficiaries. Apart from this, everyone present was also told that a large mega legal aid and service camp will be organized on 22.02.2026 at the District Panchayat Resource Center, Sonbhadra Vikas Bhawan Collectorate.
