this report IndiaAI Mission and Kalpa Impact It is published by , which includes more than 110 startups and non-profit organizations. These organizations are driving large-scale social and economic impact by using AI in critical areas such as health, agriculture, education, climate change, financial inclusion, urban transportation and public services.


Systematic map of AI ecosystem made for the first time


This repository is the first organized mapping of India’s impact-based AI ecosystem. This clearly shows that Indian founders are creating solutions based on local needs, which also have relevance at the global level.


The analysis revealed that voice AI and local language interfaces are becoming the strongest medium to reach the underserved population. Also, many startups are launching ‘Made-in-India’ We are working on the foundation model, which is also strengthening technical self-reliance in the country.

From court to farm, AI solution to every problem


Anshul Singhal, Startup, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, said, ‘The most striking thing about this collection is the diversity of problems being solved in it, which include transcription of court proceedings, rural health check-up and agricultural advisory to small farmers. Indian AI startups are not just building applications but also creating infrastructure for inclusion.”
