Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus II examinations commenced on Wednesday throughout Odisha, with comprehensive security measures implemented to guarantee a fair testing environment.
The Annual Higher Secondary Examination for 2026, organized by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha, is scheduled to run until March 28.
To ensure the examinations proceed smoothly, authorities have established various monitoring systems, including AI-powered CCTV cameras, and have stationed administrative and police personnel at sensitive locations throughout the state.
This year, approximately 401,623 students are anticipated to participate in the examinations.
Official statistics reveal that 256,707 students are enrolled in the Arts stream, 114,363 in Science, 24,621 in Commerce, and 5,932 in Vocational Education.
