A major motorway in Bedfordshire was closed after a multi-vehicle collision in the early hours.

The M1 northbound shut between J12 (Flitwick) and J13 (Milton Keynes) ahead of the morning rush-hour on Wednesday, February 18.

National Highways said that Ambulances were at the scene.
