Infosys identifies AI services opportunity worth $300-400B in these areas

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh has identified six key areas of growth in artificial intelligence (AI) services that could create a business opportunity worth $300-400 billion by 2030.

He made the remarks during Infosys's Investor AI Day event.

The six areas are AI strategy, data for AI, process for AI, legacy modernisation, physical AI, and AI trust.

Parekh highlighted that legacy modernization is one of the biggest opportunities in this space.

He also explained physical AI as a new concept where AI software is directly integrated into devices.

This could open up new avenues for businesses to leverage the power of artificial intelligence in their operations and products.

Infosys expands partnership ecosystem
Business strategy

Parekh also announced that Infosys is expanding its partnership ecosystem as part of its go-to-market strategy.

The company has added new partners and recruited around 20,000 college graduates this year to build future-ready AI capabilities.

"What we see from our clients is that they trust Infosys to drive and deliver AI initiatives," he said, highlighting the company's role in driving AI adoption among its top clients.
