Netflix has dropped the trailer for Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2, and it seems that the love story of Benedict Bridgerton is going to go through its most difficult moment yet. The first half of the season featured scenes of masked balls, secret looks, and a beautiful connection between Benedict, played by Luke Thompson, and Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha. Their tale was enchanting and seemed to have endless possibilities. However, the last four episodes will focus on the introduction of real-life factors and consequences.

While the public considers Sophie to be a lady of high rank and mystery, the real situation is quite the opposite. She is, in fact, a servant in the household of Lady Araminta Gun, played by Katie Leung. Benedict is unaware that the woman he has been dreaming about is the one who is silently existing in the world of the same society to which he belongs. This concealed fact is going to lead to conflicts as their love story progresses.

The latest trailer portrays Benedict as a man who is fed up with the rigid regulations of the Ton. He questions, in public, the validity of society deciding who he can and can’t love. The root of his anger indicates that he might be willing to defy the tradition. Choosing love over social status, on the other hand, will have its price. His standing, the family name, and his destiny could all be put at risk.
Lady Violet Bridgerton, the character played by Ruth Gemmell, points out with a smile that her son should look at the long-term effects of a decision. This is a really serious warning she gives Benedict.
