PTC Web Desk: In an administrative reshuffle ordered by the Governor of Punjab, the state government on Monday announced the immediate transfer and posting of two senior IAS officers.

As per the official order, Girish Dayalan (2011 batch) will continue to serve as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab. He will also retain his additional charge as Managing Director of The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Ltd. and Managing Director of the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board.

In addition to his existing responsibilities, Dayalan has now been given the additional charge of Managing Director of MARKFED. He replaces Preeti Yadav in this role.

Meanwhile, Preeti Yadav (2014 batch), who was serving as Managing Director of MARKFED, has been posted as Special Secretary in the Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training.

The order states that the transfers and postings have been made on administrative grounds and will take effect immediately.

The reshuffle is seen as part of routine administrative adjustment.
