New Delhi: During a domestic dispute, a husband strangled his 35-year-old wife to death with a scarf. This incident is from Sultanpuri. The children present at home at the time of the incident told the police that their father had killed their mother. This heartbreaking incident happened on Saturday afternoon. Police had reached the spot after receiving information about a fight in a house in P-Block. But, as soon as they entered the house, they found a woman lying motionless on the bed and her husband nearby in an inebriated state.

The woman was immediately taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Mangolpuri, but she could not be saved. From the statements of the 10 and 13 year old children, it became clear that the father had killed the mother after a fight. Police have arrested Anil, who worked as a driver. Police officials said that a case has been registered in this matter, the body has been sent for postmortem and investigation is going on after collecting further evidence.
