Aadhaar Update Rules: There is going to be a big change in the rules for Aadhaar update in UP. This change has happened regarding the date of birth. Many people get their date of birth changed in Aadhaar to show less age. Different birth certificates are used in this. Meaning, the first certificate is canceled and another one is made. On its basis the date of birth can be easily changed but now this manipulation will not be possible. For this the rule has been changed and made stricter.

Actually, a special birth registration number is recorded in the birth certificates that are made. Now any Aadhaar card holder who wants to change the date of birth will have to make corrections in the earlier birth certificate itself. Meaning the birth registration number of the certificate should be the same as before. If any applicant gets a new certificate of date of birth made, it will not be accepted. That means the date of birth was recorded earlier, it will remain the same.

Due to these reasons they manipulate

Some people get their date of birth changed to get more opportunities in job. Some players associated with various sports also keep changing their date of birth in this manner. Apart from this, there are some who appear for high school examination more than once and then they also change their date of birth. Now this game will not be possible under the rules made. Whoever does this will be caught.

80 percent correction of date of birth

There is a huge crowd at regional offices and centers to get Aadhaar updated. Statistics show that about 80 percent people come to Aadhaar to change their date of birth. To avoid manipulation, a rule was already made that one cannot change one’s date of birth more than once. One has to visit the regional office more than once. Despite this, they used to manipulate the birth certificate by getting a new one made.

There will be changes in the rules

Deputy Director General UIDAI Lucknow Prashant Kumar Singh said that the rule regarding change in date of birth has been changed. For this, it will be mandatory to amend the birth certificate given earlier. If the birth certificate has a different birth registration number then it will not be valid. – ,
