Funding the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem sustained its upward momentum during the second week of February. Between February 9 and 13, Indian startups cumulatively bagged $200.2 Mn across 31 funding deals. This marked an over 53% uptick from the $130.6 Mn raised across 20 deals last week.

Key Startup Funding Highlights Of The Week



  • Ecommerce retained the title of the most funded startup segment this week, with nine startups in the segment cumulatively bagging $65.7 Mn.

  • The health tech segment saw the second highest number of deals materialise this week at six, with a total capital infusion of $25 Mn.

  • Investors preferred B2B startups more over B2C ventures this week, with the former bagging 60% ($120.9 Mn) of the week’s total funding pie.

  • Fireside Ventures was the most active investor this week, backing three startups. Besides, ace investor Ashish Kacholia and 3one4 Capital also backed two startups each.

  • Eleven startups at the seed stage bagged $23.9 Mn this week, marking an over 200% jump from the $7.8 Mn raised by startups at this stage last week.

Startup IPO Updates Of The Week



  • AI company Fractal closed its initial public offeringwith an oversubscription of 2.66X. Investors cumulatively bid for 4.95 Cr shares against 1.86 Cr shares open for subscription. Its shares are expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE on Monday.

  • Aye Finance also closed its IPO with an undersubscription of 97%with investors bidding for 4.42 Cr shares against 4.55 Cr shares on offer. The company will get listed on the bourses on Monday.

  • Smart wearables brand GoBoult’s cofounder Varun Gupta told Inc42 that the startup is planning to file its DRHP with the SEBI by November this year. The startup plans on listing on the bourses by the summer of 2027.
