Charlotte Tilbury skincare comes highly rated by many beauty shoppers, and now there's an opportunity to nab the brand's coveted anti-ageing magic serum for a marked-down price. Beating both Sephora and the Charlotte Tilbury website itself, where a 30ml bottle of Magic Serum Crystal Elixir is £65, Cult Beauty has reduced the skin product to £52.

The 'luxurious' product is said to 'make skin and makeup look brill' with a super-hydrating and youth-boosting formula. Niacinamide and golden vitamin C combine to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and assist in delivering firmer, more radiant-looking skin.

To use the serum, Charlotte Tilbury states: "Massage a few drops into clean skin morning and evening before your moisturiser." The 'award-winning' serum is delicately scented with a soft, spa-inspired blend of rose and lemon, making it a lovely experience if applied before bed.

There are other anti-ageing serums on the market, including the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. This is currently on sale at Boots, reduced from £65 to £52 for a 30ml bottle. It works hard overnight, so users can wake up with refreshed and glowing skin.

Another option is the Paula's Choice Anti-Ageing Antioxidant Serum, on sale for £36 down from £45. One person who has used it wrote 'it makes my skin bright, smooth and definitely helped to even out my skin tone and brighten my skin'.

When it comes to reviews for the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, customers at Cult Beauty have rated it 4.4 out of five stars. One person said: "Absolutely magic! I'm in my late 40s, so I like to invest in good-quality skin care products that actually make my skin feel and look better. Plumper. This serum works wonders! I'm on my second bottle now."

A second customer wrote: "The product has changed my skin and the way I apply make-up. I use this serum as a primer before my foundation and it goes on seamlessly. The serum is a skincare game-changer; my skin has looked so much brighter. This is my 4th bottle! It's 100% worth it."

And a third wrote: "This is the first ever serum that I have used on my skin and I am happy to say that it works. As a woman in her early 50's with sensitive skin, this serum definitely hits and hydrates the problem areas. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling refreshed."

It may not be suited to all skin types, as noted by another customer who added: "It feels luxurious when putting it on the skin, but the smell is quite strong, and I think if you have sensitive skin, it could be quite harsh."

This wasn't the case for someone else who said: "I buy this again and again. It smells nice, sinks in really well and you only need a little. I mix my tanning drops in with it. It helps to plump my skin. Doesn't leave me oily or irritate my skin."

Another person shared: "The serum does magical stuff to your skin. I'm 52 this year, and I never had skin this good." And then went on to add: "It has helped my skin so much and makes my skin wrinkle-free and keeps it so smooth all day. Best purchase I've made."
