The talk of the town is the elderly lady from Kerala, who raised her voice against an unsafe act on the road. In a viral video, the 73-year-old Prabhavathy is seen confronting a motorist who has been seen riding the bike through the pedestrian footpath.

The video, shared by vlogger Aflah on his Instagram profile Aflu's story, starts with a shot of a casual traffic block scene from Kozhikode, Eranjippalam. In the video, many two-wheelers can be seen riding through the pedestrian footpath to save themselves from the block, but this is clearly making it unsafe for the pedestrians. Further, an elderly lady is seen standing on the path of a two-wheeler who is trying to use the walkway. When he tries to squeeze into the side, she confronts him, stops him, and even signals him to go back. Further, she is seen taking her mobile phone and recording the video of the motorist. Understanding that she is not going to back off, the motorist takes a U-turn and goes back on the road. At the end of the video, the elderly lady notices that she is being shot, and she gives a lovely smile and a thumbs-up.

'When Ammachi says enough is enough. This happened at the Kozhikode Eranjippalam traffic signal. Alone, she protested against the motorist who rides through the footpath. Such acts can result in big mishaps, and it's ridiculous that people still do it. I don't know who this elderly lady is, but a big salute to her," reads the translation of the Malayalam comment.
